Varsity Education is a not-for-profit education organisation, offering two week residential university preparation courses in Oxford and Cambridge.
Working with us is a great opportunity to stay in Oxford and/or Cambridge this summer and gain valuable teaching experience working with bright students from the UK and abroad. We are looking for tutors as well as some additional supporting roles required during the programme.

The role of tutors will be varied and may include leading classes with groups of students in your subject area, leading planned workshops and accompanying students on a range of activities and excursions amongst other responsibilities.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about their subject. Previous tutoring experience in your field of study is desirable.
We have both full time and part-time roles available. Compensation will be £12-£15 per hour depending on experience.
Our summer programmes in 2017 are taking place in Cambridge (22nd July - 5th August) and in Oxford (7th August - 21st August). We will require applicants who are available for the duration of at least one programme, however tutors will be not be required every day.

On all of our programmes we have housemasters who work directly with the managing team. The role of the housemaster is to oversee the running of the programme, act as the first point of contact for tutors and students, complete necessary programme administration, supervise activities and provide pastoral care.
To apply for the role of housemaster you must have experience teaching in a secondary school or sixth form.
We offer a competitive salary for housemasters who will be working full time and will be required to live on campus with the students.
To apply for the housemaster role you must be available for the full duration of the programmes.
